The PM2 paper machine can roll 1,800 metres of paper onto a reel per minute, significantly increasing the company’s output. And in addition to efficient paper making machinery, this increase in output also requires a reliable material handling system that moves the material required at each stage of the production process efficiently and smoothly. For this reason, the customer chose a SEVENCRANE overhead crane.
SEVENCRANE’s crane is installed in the required workshop before the installation of the user’s paper machine, to safely and accurately install the paper machine at the designated workstation during the production line construction period. The crane above the wet part has a load capacity of 130/65/65 tons and is also used for lifting and handling reels and paper machine components. The crane above the cadres is used for efficient transportation of paper rolls in daily production processes, and its reliability is crucial for ensuring production output. The active and passive modes of the lifting mechanisms of these cranes ensure absolute synchronization between the 130 ton and 90 ton lifting units, making them both efficient and extremely safe.
In addition to the cranes in the production workshop, SEVENCRANE has also designed two bridge cranes for the user’s storage area. One of them is equipped with two 40 ton winch mechanisms for handling equipment and components required in the production process. The customized lifting height of the winch ensures that the required equipment can be transported from the floor opening to the designated location on the lower floor. Another double beam crane is used for lifting the reel.
