Five Bridge Cranes for Lifting Rebar in Cyprus

In September 2022, we received an inquiry from Cyprus customer who need 5 sets of overhead cranes for his new workshop in Limassol. The main usage of the overhead crane is lifting rebars. All five overhead crane will work on three different bays. They are two 6t+6t single girder overhead travelling cranes, two 5t single girder overhead travelling cranes and one 5t double girder overhead travelling crane, as well as three electric hoists as spare parts.

For the 6T+6T single -beam bridge crane, considering that the steel bars are longer, we recommend that customers work at the same time with two electric hoists to ensure the balance when hanging. Through understanding the customer's requirements, we realized that the customer wanted to lift the rebars with full load, that is, use a 5t crane to lift the 5t rebar. Even if our load test is 1.25 times, the wear rate of the crane will greatly increase under the full load condition. Technically, the lifting weight of 5t single bridge crane should be appropriately lower than 5t. In this way, the failure rate of the crane will be greatly reduced and its service life will be correspondingly extended.

After our patient explanation, the customer's final demand is determined to be 2 sets of 6t+6t single-beam bridge cranes, 3 sets of 6t single-beam cranes and 3 sets of 6t electric hoists as spare parts. The customer is satisfied with the cooperation with us this time because our quotation is very clear and we have provided complete technical support. This saved him a lot of time and energy.

Finally, we won the order without suspense among five competitors. The customer is looking forward to the next cooperation with us. In the middle of February 2023, five cranes and their spare parts were ready to be packed and shipped to Limassol.
