Pillar Mounted High Capacity Large Outreach Jib Cranes

The pillar mounted jib crane is very suitable for small and narrow working space, and it provides increase ease of use when operated in the higher capacity or longer outreach range. The whole set of equipment includes upper column, lower column, main beam, main beam tie rod, lifting mechanism, slewing mechanism, electrical system, ladder and maintenance platform. Among them, the slewing device installed on the column can realize the 360° rotation of the main beam to lift objects, increasing the lifting space and range.

The base at the lower end of the column is fixed on the concrete foundation through anchor bolts, and the motor drives the reducer drive device to rotate the cantilever, and the electric hoist operates back and forth on the cantilever I-beam. The use of pillar jib crane shall follow the following rules:

1. The operator must be familiar with the structure and performance of the jib crane. The crane can be operated independently only after passing the training and assessment, and the safety rules shall be followed.

2. Before each use, check whether the transmission mechanism is normal and whether the safety switch is sensitive and reliable.

3. The jib crane shall be free of abnormal vibration and noise during operation.

4. It is strictly forbidden to use the cantilever crane with overload, and the “ten no lifting” provisions in the crane safety management regulations must be observed.

5. When the cantilever or hoist runs close to the end point, the speed shall be reduced. It is strictly prohibited to use the end point limit as a means of stopping.

6. Precautions for electrical equipment of pillar mounted jib crane during operation:

① Whether the motor has overheating, abnormal vibration and noise;

② Check whether the control box starter has abnormal noise;

③ Whether the wire is loose and friction;

④ In case of failure, such as overheat of motor, abnormal noise, smoke from circuit and distribution box, etc, stop the machine immediately and cut off the power supply for maintenance.
