The basic mechanism of the cantilever crane is composed of a column, a slewing arm, slewing drive device and a main engine hoist. The lower end of the column is fixed on the concrete foundation through anchor bolts, and the cantilever is driven by a cycloidal pinwheel reduction device. The electric hoist runs on the cantilever in a straight line from left to right, and lifts heavy objects. The jib of the crane is a hollow steel structure with light weight, large span, large lifting capacity, economical and durable. The built-in traveling mechanism adopts special engineering plastic traveling wheels with rolling bearings, which has small friction and brisk walking. The small structure size is especially conducive to improving the hook stroke.
At the end of October, we received the inquiry from Uzbekistan. They plan to purchase a set of jib crane for their client. They said the jib crane is used for loading chemical product in BIG BAG in open air. And they were building logistic centre in Karakalpakistan Kungrad Region, by the end of the year they will install it. As usual, we asked the load capacity, lifting height and some parameters of jib crane. After confirming, we sent the quotation and drawing to client. The client said they had a building process and after the finishing they would buy it.
At the end of November, our client asked us to send the quotation via WhatsApp again. After checking, they sent us a quotation for jib crane from another supplier, and they need jib crane such kind of quotation. I noticed another supplier was quoting big structure. Actually, they don’t need big structure and the cost will also higher than ordinary type jib crane. After solving other problems raised by the customer, we start a new round of discussion according to the structure. The customer wanted us to provide another option of big structure. In the end, he was very satisfied with our new plan.
At the middle of December, the client placed the order to us.
