Classification of bridge crane

2) Classified by main beam type. Such as single girder gantry crane and double girder gantry crane.
3) Classified by main beam structure. It can also be divided into box girder type and truss type.
4) Classified by use. It can be divided into ordinary gantry crane, hydropower station gantry crane, shipbuilding gantry crane and container gantry crane.

Differences between bridge crane and gantry crane

2. Different operation tracks
1. The bridge crane is horizontally mounted on two fixed pillars of the building and used in workshops, warehouses, etc. It is used for loading and unloading，lifting and handling indoors or outdoors.
2. Gantry crane is a deformation of bridge crane. There are two tall legs at both ends of the main beam, running along the track on the ground.

3.  Different application scenarios
1. The bridge of the bridge crane runs longitudinally along the track laid on both sides of the overhead. This can make full use of the space under the bridge to lift materials without being hindered by ground equipment. It is a lifting machine with a wide range and a large number of use, which is more common in the rooms and warehouses.
2. Gantry crane is widely used in ports and freight yards due to its high site utilization, wide operation range, wide adaptability and strong versatility.
