In a recent project on a landmark building in Peru, four SEVENCRANE SS3.0 spider cranes were deployed for curtain wall panel installation in an environment with limited space and complex floor layouts. With a highly compact design—only 0.8 meters in width—and weighing just 2.2 tons, the SS3.0 spider cranes were the ideal choice for maneuvering in confined spaces and on floors with limited load-bearing capacity.
The building’s restricted floor area made it challenging for conventional cranes to operate effectively. SEVENCRANE’s spider cranes, however, featured extendable legs that could support the crane’s weight at various angles, distributing pressure evenly and reducing impact on the floor surface. This flexibility allowed the cranes to operate seamlessly in the building’s complex architecture.
Equipped with 110 meters of wire rope, the SS3.0 spider cranes enabled operators to hoist curtain wall panels from the ground level to different floor heights, simplifying the installation process. Additionally, the crane’s flexible, track-mounted body and user-friendly operation made it easy for operators to precisely maneuver heavy glass and steel panels even in tight spaces, ensuring efficient and safe installation.
This project exemplifies SEVENCRANE’s dedication to producing high-quality, reliable lifting solutions tailored to meet the demands of modern construction. Driven by a spirit of craftsmanship and innovation, SEVENCRANE continues to develop versatile, compact, and technologically advanced lifting equipment that meets global industry standards, making it a trusted choice for construction projects worldwide.
