The production process of ceramic products requires frequent handling of clay raw materials to ensure efficient production of ceramic products. SEVENCRANE's KBK crane can be used for almost any material handling task. A well-known planter manufacturing enterprise located in Stewald uses fully automated production equipment to produce a variety of planters and sells them to various parts of the world. The company has selected SEVENCRANE double beam KBK suspension crane for its newly expanded factory building. It is used in conjunction with an electric grab to mix the proportion of clay raw materials and transport bulk clay raw materials, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of its fully automatic production equipment for flower pots.
The pottery raw materials required for the user to produce flower pots are stored in several silos and storage boxes. The waste generated from the inevitable damage of flower pots during the production process is also stored in this area. Before being transported to the automated production area, it is necessary to mix the clay raw materials in a certain proportion in that area. For this purpose, the user installed a KBK double beam suspension crane with a span of 7.5 meters, a load capacity of 1.6 tons, and a lifting height of up to 16 meters in the pottery raw material storage workshop, used to complete the transportation and mixing of pottery raw materials.
The KBK crane is directly suspended and installed on the user's factory structure through adjustable length lifting points, without the need to install the crane's rail beam or perform welding operations. At the same time, non rigid KBK crane suspension components can also absorb the horizontal force impact of the crane on the steel structure of the user's factory building during transportation by swinging left and right within a range of 14 degrees, thereby extending the service life of the entire area.
The KBK crane operates on a 31 meter long KBK track, effectively covering the entire workshop area. The lifting mechanism of the crane adopts a chain electric hoist to lift and lower the electric grab bucket within an effective travel range of up to 16 meters. The opening and closing control of the electric grab is integrated into the control hand switch button of the KBK crane. This allows operators to simultaneously control the horizontal and vertical electric walking of the KBK crane, as well as the lifting and lowering, opening and closing of the electric grab by operating a flashlight. It can ensure the efficient mixing and supply of clay raw materials.
