Project Overview
The customized overhead crane designed for this project includes a bridge structure, lifting mechanisms, main trolley, and electrical systems. It features a dual-girder, dual-rail configuration with two independent hoists, each powered by its own drive system, allowing precise lifting and lowering of loads. The crane is equipped with a special lifting tool designed for bundles of steel pipes, which operates via a scissors-type guide arm, effectively controlling load sway during transfer.
This crane was specifically designed for seamless automated transport of steel pipes between workstations, aligning with the client’s requirements for automated handling through their oil immersion production line.
