Due to the unclear demand for cranes in the customer's original inquiry, our sales personnel contacted the customer as soon as possible and obtained the complete parameters requested by the customer.
After establishing the first contact, subsequent communication was not very smooth. During this period, we did not receive a response to the relevant messages we sent to the client. We know that the customer still has doubts, so we patiently send relevant cases to the customer.
In October, our company just exported a portable gantry crane to Croatia. At this point, it has been half a month since the last contact with the customer. So, we shared with the customer the simple door machine water bill for export to Croatia. Finally received a response from the client: she needs a 3-ton cantilever crane with an arm length of 5m and a height of 4.5m. Because the customer is using it to lift metal materials, there are no other special requirements. So we provide customers with the conventional model BZ jib crane.
On the second day after the quotation, we promptly asked the customer if they had any doubts about our quotation. The customer expressed a concern for quality issues. I also proposed to obtain the cantilever crane cases that our company has previously sold to Croatia or neighboring countries. We have presented feedback from Australian customers after purchase and receipts from Slovenian customers in response to their needs. And inform the customer that a load test of the cantilever crane can be provided.
Afterwards, the customer informed us that they need an EORI number (a necessary registration number for import and export from EU countries). During the waiting process, the customer discovered that the height of the cantilever crane of 4.5m in our drawings was the lifting height, while the customer requested a total height of 4.5m. Subsequently, we asked the engineer to modify the quotation and drawings for the client. After the customer received the EORI number, they made a 100% advance payment to us.
